Cara Scacco earned her Ed.M. degree in Dance Education with PK-12 Teaching Certification from Rutgers University. She is trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, afro-contemporary, and modern dance. During her time at Rutgers, she was awarded an assistantship from Mason Gross School of the Arts to become an ABT® Affiliate Teacher. She has successfully completed the ABT® Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level Three. Cara also served as a teaching assistant for the online Dance Appreciation courses at Rutgers. Before Rutgers, Cara attended Muhlenberg College on a dance scholarship and earned a dual BA degree in Dance & Performing Arts and Media & Communications. While at Muhlenberg, she performed the works of renowned choreographers, including Antony Tudor’s Continuo restaged by John Gardner and Amanda McKerrow of American Ballet Theatre.
