Georgia Teperikidou

Mrs. Teperikidou holds a BFA in Dance with a major in Ballet Pedagogy from the Professional Dance Academy in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2002, Ms. Teperikidou moved to New York to continue her professional career in dance and dance education. Her passion to obtain an in-depth knowledge of dance training/pedagogy led her to earn a Master’s Degree in Dance Education from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Education. She has attended teacher training workshops and received certifications from The National Ballet School of Canada, American Academy of Ballet, Miami City Ballet, American Ballet Theater, New York City Center and New York City Ballet. In July of 2013, Mrs. Teperikidou had the privilege of attending the first-ever teachers’ workshop at the Paris Opera Ballet School, and received recognition and certification from one of the most revered ballet institutions in the western world. She also holds a certification in Modern and Jazz techniques from Dance Space Center, NY, as well as a certification in Movement Analysis and Notation through the Laban Institute of Movement Studies, New York.

Mrs. Teperikidou is proud to have trained students who have gained acceptance to ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (JKO) School, The Juilliard School, Tisch School of the Arts, School of American Ballet, and other highly-reputable national and international programs. Mrs. Teperikidou has served as a judge for several competitions nationally and internationally, and has had the privilege to coach and choreograph pieces presented at Youth America Grand Prix, among other national competitions. Her previous teaching experience includes engagements at American Ballet Theater Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School, School of American Ballet, Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet, and other esteemed institutions of dance training in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Mrs. Teperikidou is an American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum Affiliate teacher certified from Pre-Primary through Level 5. She is also a certified New York City Ballet Workout instructor, a Zena Rommett Floor Barre Certified instructor, a Progressing Ballet Technique teacher. In addition to her position on faculty with Princeton Dance and Theater Studio, Mrs. Teperikidou is an Adjunct Professor at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, and a Part-Time Lecturer in Ballet Technique in the BFA program at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
