Sophia Kravets

Sophia Kravets received her early training at Princeton Ballet School and continued her advanced dance studies at Princeton Dance and Theater Studio in the esteemed Conservatory Program. She has been a company member with Princeton Youth Ballet for six seasons performing principal, soloist, and ensemble roles in such works such as The Nutcracker, Graduation Ball, Carnival of the Animals, The Snow Queen, The Sleeping Beauty, The Secret Garden, and Cinderella.
As a student, Ms. Kravets achieved honors in the completion of her American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum Examinations displaying detailed understanding and skill in the technique and theory of classical ballet. Ms. Kravets developed her interest in teaching as a teacher’s assistant spending five years as an assistant in the classroom engaging students with energy, sound methodology, and compassion. Ms. Kravets’ strong interest in developing sound technique and athleticism in dance has led her to pursue a BS in Exercise Science at Rutgers University.
Ms. Kravets has successfully completed the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum teacher training for levels Pre-Primary through Level 5 and is thrilled to continue sharing her knowledge, passion, and experience with PDT students.
