Please read the below information in its entirety before registering.
Registrations may be submitted online or in person.
Registrations MUST be accompanied by an initial payment to be confirmed.
By filling out this registration form, you are registering for the entire class as listed on this page. Division of fees into installments is available for an additional fee. If you withdraw during the school year for any reason, it is your responsibility to email the studio manager immediately at studiomanager@princetondance.com. You are required to give 30-days notice if withdrawing from any class. A drop fee of $25 will be charged for withdrawals. NO REFUNDS OF TUITION PAID FOR ANY REASON. UNUSED FEES WILL BE KEPT FOR 18 MONTHS AS CREDIT.
We offer 2-, 4-, or 8-installment payment plans. Installment plans carry a $15 fee per enrolled class, per installment. Fees are capped at $30 per installment.
Those registering after the start date of classes will be charged based on a prorate of the full session. Any class with fewer than seven enrolled students may be cancelled at the discretion of the owner/director.
MAKE-UP CLASSES
Please note that our policy does not guarantee make-up classes.
Make-ups may be arranged for Dance With Me, Pre-Primary, and Adult/Teen Ballet classes in a comparable class at the discretion of the instructor if there is room available before the end of the session.
Primary A, B, and C students are allowed one make-up class per semester IF there is space in a comparable class. All make-ups must be scheduled through the office. Make-up classes may not be misused for scheduling convenience. Students may not attend make-up classes without advance approval. Makeup classes must be completed before the end of the same school year during which a class or classes were missed.
Dancers in Levels 1 through 3 may request a make-up class on an alternate class day. CP, Level 4, and Level 5 students may request a make-up class in the level below their assigned level. Students in Level 3 and above may also request a make-up class in the Thursday night Adult/Teen Ballet class. Make-up classes in a level above the dancer’s assigned level are not permitted. All make-up classes must be arranged through the office and approved by the instructor. Makeup classes must be completed before the end of the same school year during which a class or classes were missed.
PERFORMANCE PARTICIPATION
Scholarship recipients and Conservatory Program dancers must participate in all PYB and PDT season performances.
A NOTE ABOUT ZOOM CLASSES
All classes are offered in-person unless otherwise mandated or stated in the class description. Virtual instruction may only be requested for students who meet quarantine criteria (as determined by a healthcare professional, the local school district, or the NJ Department of Health). Virtual instruction may not be requested for convenience.
BALLET PLACEMENT CLASSES
Please note that new Ballet program students ages 8 and above must schedule a placement class. Dancers in Dance With Me, Pre-Primary, and Primary levels MUST be of the specified age for their class type by September 30th. The studio director/designated instructors finalize all level placements. $20 will be subtracted from tuition upon enrollment (provided enrollment is within 2 weeks of placement class date).
RISK-FREE TRIAL CLASSES
Prospective students may take a risk-free trial class. No fee will be charged for students who opt not to register. For students who do register, the cost of the trial class will be included in the overall tuition. Trial classes are open to first-time students only. In classes with a “drop-in” option (e.g. Adult/Teen Jazz and Adult Beginner Ballet), risk-free trials are not permitted.
